The society is active in the community promoting housing for purple martins and provides information, lectures, and slide shows to various groups in the community. Much more information about purple martins can be obtained by joining the Purple Martin Society of Collier County which has monthly luncheon meetings in Naples, Florida the third Monday of October through May.
